Have you tried quinoa yet? It seems to be all the rage lately. Usually I do not tend to jump on bandwagons when it comes to hot food items but even just the name “quinoa” intrigued me. I have tried it in several dishes and I really like the taste and texture of quinoa. Most of the recipes I see for the use of quinoa is for dinners or for salads. However, I am always on the lookout for good breakfast recipes. My kids rarely eat cold cereal for breakfast. They really enjoy hot meals for breakfast and I am more than happy to oblige. March is full of birthdays for us here in our home. My daughter is turning 2! It seems like just yesterday this picture was taken.
My husband and I also have birthdays this coming week. I am thankful for another year with my family. I could not ask for more!
I am so excited to see my flowers starting to bud! This past fall and winter have not been easy. I am looking forward to the hope of a new season. To me, spring is a fresh start with new beginnings.
I am looking forward to playing outside with my kids, walking outside and bright sunshine! And of course the beautiful flowers that will be blooming in my yard.
